Who: From fourth-gen biodynamic California farmers and brothers Andrew and Adam Mariani of Scribe Winery; a minimal intervention wine that faithfully reflects the vineyard.
What/How: Named after the Coast Miwok’s village of Péta Lúuma, this practicing organic site is ideally situated in the cool Petaluma Gap.
Tasting Notes: A very fresh, bright and crisp Chard, perfect for summer sipping. Nice weight and richness on the palate, but with zesty acidity and mineral tones. Pairs With: Risotto, creamy soups, Dungeness crab and most anything else from the ocean
