Who: Jonathan Rosenson’s homage to his family's immigration to the US from France after WWII. Meticulously handmade; limited production; crafted with organic grapes and native yeast.
What/How: From a 58-acre, certified organic and sustainably farmed vineyard in the heart of Los Olivos; named for the striking red poppy that graces the French countryside.
Tasting Notes: Zippy, clean and very refreshing, this is a lovely expression of Sauvignon Blanc, showing lots of fragrant grapefruit and white flower notes. Pairs With: Ginger noodles, fish tacos, chicken piccata and just about anything eaten al fresco.
